So Crypto guys please read this article

I know the promoters of Crypto on this site will come up with all kinds of reasons and excuses but the fact is promoting this stuff is dangerous - when you encourage others that this is a good investment as many of you have then you are in the same group as these people in this article - just stop defending this junk and go away - the SEC (Securities exchange commission) does not look kindly on anyone who even remotely gives investment advice (unless they are SEC licensed) much less for Crypto - I am telling you this for your own protection - that is all I have to say and I am out - I suggest you do the same

Lindsay Lohan, Jake Paul, Ne-Yo and rapper Lil Yachty are among the eight notable names who have been hit with Securities and Exchange Commission charges for violating securities laws in touting crypto currencies. The SEC on Wednesday disclosed that charges were filed against eight celebrities in connection with the broader investigation of crypto entrepreneur Justin […]

You are ignorant. They are charged because they were getting PAID to promote and didn’t disclose. You think anyone on this website is getting paid to promote Bitcoin. Lol.

The eight boldface names were charged with “illegally touting TRX and/or BTT without disclosing that they were compensated for doing so and the amount of their compensation,” according to the SEC.

Lol, did you read the article. Their charges are because the promoted an invested without disclosing that they were being paid to do so. I understand you don’t like crypto or understand how it functions and think everyone should put their money in an index fund but that has nothing to do with the article.

If someone did that with stocks, which often happens, the SEC would bring charges against them also. You look hard to find evidence to support your boogie man theory for someone who is “over it”

I've seen it pretty dang close to that on here, within a frogs hair anyway, not that I care.
With that being said, a fool and his money shall soon part, and there's nothing you can do about it.
Not saying you should take advantage of people, but I also don't believe it's anyones responsibility to look out for stupid.
Maybe "stupid" isn't the word, "greedy" seems better, and it makes you do stupid ****.

Crypto is one of those things that kind of got sprung on us without much educating the masses. Why is it so mysterious? If it is such a great thing why is 90% of it unspoken and hidden, something you have to search for to get info and that info changes according to opinions. It is here to stay because that is the plan for a One World Govt but many will fail and some will prosper. Getting in or staying out depends mostly upon your personality and risk/reward compulsion or skepticism. The dollar is going down fast and something will probably take it's place and I assume crypto, just hope it is the good guys and not the bad guys you get involved in.

Just like any other stocks. You have to research it on your own. Not that hard to do.

Here is my best investment advice... Don’t bet it on crypto if you can stand to lose it.

Whatever I watched it all last year, bought at $16k in January and sold last week at $24k, wish I would have waited until this week to sell but was a solid money maker for me.

Yup. Find it hard to believe some of these guys weren’t being compensated in some way as hard as they were peddling it.

Y'all talking about the 0.0000000034 crypto plays? I agree...
But also keep in mind some of those can pump up high on relatively light volume. So simple dump and dump is likely also.
