There is a lady outside the Lufkin area in the community of Bald Hill off Hwy 69 that sales larger birds. People I know have bought from her and she has a Facebook page. Something like chicken lady or hen lady I don’t remember for sure.

Bald Hill Poultry Poultry, Lufkin, Texas. 2,995 likes. Top laying chickens in Angelina County

I will trade you some for a finished BBQ pit.

I have a lot, but they’re probably Silkies.

Messed up... Let's try this again...
Ideal Poultry is the largest supplier of backyard poultry including chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, guineas, and bantams in the United States. Buy online.

That's where my wife got hers... Last time, she ordered just a dozen... got 3 each of 4 different varieties... They're some egg-layin' suckers now!! Have a total of 15 hens and one day last week, we got 23 eggs! Almost always get at least a dozen, but lots of days 12 to 15... We average 7-10 dozen/week... Funny thing, my wife doesn't even eat eggs!! And I can only eat so many and she only needs so many to cook with...
We average taking 7 dozen a week to Bible Study on Sunday mornings and passing them out to friends... They are SO good this time of year when everything is so green and there are so many bugs for 'em to eat... It's a hoot once the lovebugs emerge! They run around plucking them right out of the air... Have a yard light up front and when the auto-door opens on the chicken house, those hens make a B-line to the area under that light to pick up Junebugs and other critters that fall under that light every night!!

We might need to do some bartering

We just hatched out 15 barnyard mix chicks. Moms are cinnamon queens.

May not be what you want but feed stores, tractor supply and different places have Easter chicks now

We ordered 30 meat chicks and 5 laying chicks from McMurray hatchery and they were delivered today. We had a similar experience were a lot of the popular breeds were not available until the summer. We did some digging on their website and also did some research and found less popular breeds that were suitable for our needs.

Anybody have any fertile guinea eggs?

I would like to try and hatch a couple dozen after Easter

We have 20 3 week old chicks now. Wife wanted RIR but ended up with a variety.
