I was up there last weekend, strange to see everything so dead when it’s so green in E Texas.

Dang drought man. Unless it's irrigated no Winter wheat came up or nothin. When the wind gets to going it makes me think of what it must've been like during the dirty 30's when the dust bowl thing was going on. It was so bad the other day I couldn't see the road for all the dirt blowing across it. It's worse than I think I've ever seen it. Bad dry.

Our pheasant and quail population is gonna be bad off if we don't get some rain. It was 78 degrees one day last week. The next day it was snowing and blowing 50mph.

Our snakes are gonna be doing just like that one "Is it safe to come out?" They're worried they're either gonna get sand blasted or frozen stiff.

I'm gonna take some days off in April to catch some rattlesnakes. I'll have to do a live snake huntin thread. I ain't done one of those in a while. People seem to enjoy those......I think.lol

I gotta go out to my moms and see if I can find any. She's got a den somewhere. Really bad snake problem out there.

They may go back into hiding with tonight's freeze warnings!
