Is the juice really worth the squeeze?
The only good way to know is go to a good archery shop with a good tech and try every one they have. It was day and night for me - so yes it s definitely worth the squeeze but then you’ll need a spare too

I shoot a Stan Onnex, and it's a great release. That being said, if I hadn't just bought the Stan, I would have bought the UV thumb.

One of the trips I made to outlaw archery this year I made the comment to richard. He offered to let me try anything I wanted. He also recommended that I not try and make the switch within a few weeks of season opening. He also said not to try if I wasnt ready to spend the money.

Im pretty happy with current release, maybe my groups over 40ish could be better but I dont have many places to shoot that far and generally dont shoot at deer past 30 anyway

I hunted with a Scott Little Goose for about 25 years (the same one for most of those years.) Made the switch a couple of years ago to a thumb release and won't go back. I'd try it and see what you think. If you buy a good brand and decide it's not for you, the resale value will get you a chunk of your money back.

Carter onnex have a perfex as a backup. Would use the perfex all day no problem. Love them both. Clip like a ultraview without the short draw length. Smoothhh

Carter 2 Special. He stopped making them about 15 years ago, but it's a 2 finger version of the Just B Cuz.
                I LOVE it.
