    Bluetooth/Hearing Protection ear buds

Looking for recommendations on hearing protection with Bluetooth. Looking at the Axil GS extreme. They are on sale right now for $99. I prefer the foam over the silicone flanges as they stay in my ear better and feel more comfortable.
What others should I look at

My galaxy earbuds work really well, but only last about an hour.

if you have BCBS healthcare (some plans provide 100% coverage) you can get a pair of soundgear phantoms.

      SoundGear Phantom ( http://soundgear.com/products/soundgear-phantom -MSRP $1,399.00 )

      General details:

NewSound Hearing Center is a company that has been working with individuals in assisting with hearing test, custom fitting, and purchasing the SoundGear Phantoms’ utilizing your insurance provider to cover 100% of the cost. The company appears to have locations all across Texas. Per my conversation with multiple offices in the South Texas area, it was confirmed that they have this product available and they have yet to come across an issue with insurance not covering the full cost of the product. You would need to call to set up an appointment for a hearing test and custom fitting aka ear canal casting, and then within 7 to 10 business days they are ready for pick up.

      Product Highlights:
23 hours of rechargeable battery life including 4 hours of streaming
      BlueTooth
      Custom Fit
Uses: Hunting and Tactical Shooting, etc.

      Hope this helps!

I've had a few different brands in the past. Never the super expensive ones though. I have Axils now, and they're better than any of the Walkers or other ones I've used before. I'm sure the custom fit high end ones would be even better.

I have some moderate hearing loss. How well do these perform as a hearing aid versus just noise cancellation?

Wait. Are these hearing aids and reduce sound?

I went for my consultation today and they said I was a good candidate for the Phantom hearing system but unfortunately my insurance doesn’t cover it.
Retail price is $1,300, which is too much for me.

After the consultation, it depends on what kind of hearing loss but they said it does help.
It I worth the time to go get a consult.

I have the axil and have been using them on the mower and tractor for a couple years. Wife just got some off Amazon that work better (I can hear music better) and were 30 or 40 bucks

I have the phantoms and they allow me to have conversations without yelling at people on the sporting clays course. They have 4 different modes you can select. You can also pair them to your phone and adjust a little better.

Only issue is if you already have a set of hearings paired to your phone you will not be able to pair these unless you remove the others.
