    Free gsp

Anyone want a free gsp? She’s really pretty but absolutely worthless. I inherited her off here had her for about 5 yrs now. She’s a pet. This dog will jump a fence and the dog catcher has her now. I can’t keep her in my yard. It’s insane. She will fetch a decoy all day long but is very gun shy. Like you have to tie her to a Polaris if you take her dove hunting. She’s spayed. This dog can escape a wire cage.

Honesty is all. Not trying to sell anyone on this dog. The comment was funny though. Made me laugh

Have you tried an e collar on her? I have two GSPs and they know when they are wearing their collars. It's like Adderall to them, I haven't had to actually use the collars in a very long time.

Hot wire at the top and bottom of the fence. That worked on my escape artist GSP years ago.

Second the e collars. Our part mini aussie likes to bark. When we bring the collor out she knows it's time to be quiet. Took the shock prongs off so she has never been shocked, we can only beep and vibrate it but works great..

                    At least you tried !
Surely there’s someone on here that’s just as much of a mess, and needs a partner in crime.

Oh I’ve taken time w her. I inherited her off here thinking the same thing. I have two of em. So she has a playmate all day and does it. My only line of defense is a wireless gps fence shock collar. They’re like 1500$. I’ve never given up on her but w kids and everything her jumping the fence has gotten out of control. She can clear a 6ft er in one jump.

I’ve given the dog 5 or so years of chances.

If getting over the fence is the only issue, maybe try this. It has worked very well for my dog. Full disclosure, I live in the country so my concern was him getting on the road. He still jumps the fence but he knows exactly where the shock happens and goes no farther. You can set the radius for just inside the fence as it is variable, I just set mine out farther so he has the whole yard and a little more. And it is a lot cheaper than $1500. This is all I got.
