    Dang squirrels….

Apparently, I’ve got a lead/PVC eating squirrel on the loose. If I see it again, I gonna let some more lead fly! I wonder how hard that’s gonna be to fix???

Prevention is the best medicine. I have lots of squirrel medicine, always at the ready, numerous lead dispensing 12 ga., 16 ga., and a 17 HMR, and a 5 mm Sheridan squirrel medicine dispenser. We have already been through the squirrels eating the house problem, it ain't happening again.

I don’t see that being a hard fix

I’m was wondering how to replace the pvc. From inside the attic, it’s the hardest part of the attic to get to!

Hard to tell, but it looks like just your boot needs replaced. Shouldnt be hard.

I don't think you need to replace the pvc, just the boot.

But I may not be seeing the damage

I have done repairs caused by tree rats to the lead flashing on my dads house.
Basically just set another taller one over it and bent the top down inside the pipe.
But his vent pipe was solid. You might be able to cut the damaged pvc and glue/extended it again with new piece

Leaking roofs are no bueno. Good luck

Replace the lead boot and wrap with wire mesh to keep them from chewing on it.

Try cutting your trees back futher than the squirrels can jump.

Oh, that is going to be fun to repair
