Had a fast and furious hunt yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately didn’t do my part and gobbler got away. Had this hen come in as soon as I got settled in blind and gobbler came in within 30 mins. He never gobbled.
Will be back at them and hopefully do my part.

Had 3 fire up for a few minutes then went silent

This wind and spittin rain isn’t ideal

Put my kid on a couple Sunday morning. Had them to 15 yards and drumming for at least 10 minutes. Good time with the kid

No luck but watched 2 fly to roost

Should be in the game nice and early in the morning. Needs to be a quick hunt before work

Tucked in about 250 yards from yesterdays birds

They should fly down and head our way. I’m setup on the high ground

We do have some... .....It's been awhile. We have a ****load of hens and a decent amount of toms. Hopefully they drag more Toms from the neighbors because our Toms are gonna be wore out by 4/1..

Smart both young birds but not jakes. About 4 inch beards and had actual spurs but only about 1/2 inch or so. I see what you’re talking about on the fan but think that is just where he had his hand holding that one. Both were full half 180s. With the cold front and rainy weather I was almost surprised I could pull even a couple young birds

Snuck out for a quick hunt this evening

Got setup, made a few calls and had 3 gobblers rush the decoy spread.

I might have gotten a little cocky with the decoys at 12 steps and I think they saw me….no shot opp

I may be back at em tomorrow evening. We have soccer in the morning and then I’m heading to Bama next Friday.

With the early success, I haven’t gotten to made at em yet.
