SHNF Hog Advice

I have a nephew coming down from Colorado that I'd like to take out hog hunting.

Does anyone have advice on a good spot for hogs? I know hogs are nomadic and don't stick to one spot for long so I figured I'd reach out for advice on a honey hole.

Without a lot of scouting I would drive around until I found fresh rooting and go from there. They seem to still be rooting under the oaks right now. Around 1375 between lake Conroe and caney creek is normally a good spot for them. Caney creek normally holds a lot of them, but it’s thick brush.
