    Looking for a custom knife

My brother made Lt. Colonel this year (Air Force) and I want to surprise him with a nice knife, something semi-custom or custom made...not off the shelf. He has served our nation well for many years and I'd love to send him something special.

He has a small collection of cleavers, so they are always a good choice but i'm open to anything that screams quality and beauty.

let me see what you have and $$.

    Thanks TBH!

There’s a knife show in Fort Worth next weekend at Will Rodgers. Going to be a lot of nice higher end stuff there if you don’t find anything off here. I agree Jank does make some nice looking stuff on here. Check him out first.

Another vote for jank knives, I own several and have bought several as gifts and for silent auctions for fundraisers and the folks really love them

Shane Slone in Newcastle has been making a living doing nothing but custom knives since high school and that was a long time ago....lol. I hunted with him back in the 80's when he was just getting started. He is country as cornbread and is as straight forward and honest as a man can be. You cannot go wrong with him.

Like said above, one of the largest knife shows in the country will be Blade Show Texas at Ft. Worth Convention center next Friday and Saturday. I will be set up at table 7-O if ya like folding pocketknives! Stop by and say Hi!

That's a great gesture and gift idea.

Jason Fry is as good as it gets. I got his email newsletter yesterday, and he has some beautiful knives available right now. I'm trying to maintain discipline and not buy any more for a while, so maybe you have a chance to get one.

Another vote for Leon County Slayer. Brian Milinski. You’re doing yourself an injustice if you don’t check with him.
