overall, not very good. a few funny jokes, but even the crowd wasn't laughing as much as most good comedians have them laughing. and not sure why he kept repeating everything he said.

I didn’t find it funny at all. Chuckled a few times, but didn’t even finishing watching it. It just wasn’t funny to me. He came across to me as just angry and yelling

Gonna give Bill Burr a try tonight I guess based on y’all’s recommendations

My fav comedy set is Richard Prior Live when we was in Long Beach.

                  His hunting characterization was hilarious.

I will give Burr a chance. Ron White and Rodney Carrington are more my style, stand up comedians not commentators that make you chuckle occasionally.

It’s a weird dynamic, but comedians are really the front line against wokeism among “celebrities”.

If you think about it, their livelihood depends on being able to make fun of everyone. They go about it in different ways, but they’re a group who can set a tone as far as pointing out the ridiculousness of some of this stuff, and convey a lot of honesty to the other Hollywood idiots.

Your mileage may vary, but I can appreciate a lot of it, even if I don’t agree with all of it. The good ones are invested, and honest.

If nothing else, they have to put some thought into it, unlike actors, and athletes.

Agree and that’s needed. Guess I need to update my mind set, I’m used to comedy that is lite and just makes you bust a gut without really giving any message.

It’s probably a “give up” answer, on my part…but I feel like all the basic stuff has been done. Ron White does as great a job as anyone of coming up with new party stuff, but it’s gonna run out.

They have to use current events.

It will be interesting to see what they can get away with in the future.
