When I had our hill country place I bought a hammer drill and bits from Harbor Freight. Used it quite a bit to anchor feeders. Worked great.

Yeah these are great tips, it think I will cut the top row off. Maybe my hog panels are taller than most.

Size of the two bits? Or size of bit(s) you use?

Never seen more than one size of hog panels... 34" ish tall

Not sure how low I'd cut down a hog panel. You start losing your ability to keep undesirables out.

They do make cattle panels as well that are taller....and I've seen them at 48 or 50" tall.

No idea. I just used the one they sold me that fit the rental rock drill. 1 bit did 42 holes and still looked great. I have it in my lease cabin if I ever need it again. I can look for a size next trip.

I use Rivera Panels or Lometa Panels.
I paid around $50 a panel but that was a 2 yrs ago.
4 yrs ago they were $30 each.
Who knows what they cost now.

They are 10' long and 41" tall(actually the panel itself is 40" tall with a 1" leg on it)

I have a lease in OK and have 10 of them for my feed pen.
I also have 11 of them at the house to create a small goat pen for our show goats.
