2023 TBH Crappie get together!!!!

What a fantastic weekend.
I believe this was the best Crappie gathering yet.
We quit at 50 fish a day because that is all I was willing to clean but we left biting fish. Just a great lake.
As always the food was great and the catching up with everyone was better.
My grandson just sits back and enjoys listening to all the great stories.

I big thank you to the fellows that put this together every year

It’s good to see your comments on your grandson and his reactions of just seeing people having fun and in the outdoors. I bet he will benefit from these times you take him to through out his life time.
My Dads Family place was across the bridge on the island as it’s referred to by the old folks. We spent allot of time on Toledo when I was growing up. I remember the boat lanes with green trees everywhere. Glad everyone had a good weekend.

Great weekend y’all! Hard to believe that was the 6th year! My fat azz ate two burgers Friday night and polished off a tray of banana pudding!! It was all excellent! I can’t even remember if I made a plate of fish Sat night but I was full by the time we finished cooking between checking the fish and shrimp for quality control I didn’t have much room left. I tried hard Friday morning to make work what I wanted to make work with the fish and once I listened to the fish they came in the boat pretty quick after that! I like lakes full of fat black crappie and TB is certainty one of them!! Till next year y’all!

Had a great time and enjoyed the company.

Got home about 130, unloaded the truck and then worked outside until nearly dark playing catch up from being gone 2.5 days

Is that why Gumbo Man sent the shrimp and slaw, so to make sure they didn't starve to death?

You know Gumbo is a very considerate man and wants to make sure they eat while they were there.
