Both my kids work enough to max out their ROTH contributions. They don’t get gifts for any occasion but have had their ROTHs funded

Need money to retire and that’s been said but just as importantly you
need good health. So you younger guys need to running a few miles a week and lifting some weights! At least that’s my plan.

There are plenty of high paying dividend stocks that will give you a substantial income. My FIL has been doing this for the last 15 years and receives a good income from his dividends and his principal has only gone down slightly.
