Pods storage containers

Hopefully my wife will nail down this position at Baylor Scott and White College Station. If so we will be making the exodus from Katy. My question is: have any of you used the Pods storage container system for moving. If so is it the way to go? Thanks in advance yall.

We just used it ourselves. We liked it because we didn’t have to worry about hauling or storing stuff between the move in and move out. We had a two week gap between moving out of our old house and into the new, and PODS stores the container during that process. It is a little pricey but I think it was worth it.

We used Pods for our last move. There was a delay for us between closings, so they just kept the pods at the storage facility and when we were ready at the new house, they delivered the pods to the driveway. Overall, it was a good experience with them.

Ours went well also. Moving daughter from one rent house to another while in college. Beat the heck out of putting stuff in storage for a month or two trips to Lubbock with the trailer. Just called em up and told em when we were ready and they dropped it off.

So they have a central location to store the pods correct? What kinda price we looking at per pod? We have a 2800 sq ft home.

They have storage warehouses all over. Prolly best to get on their website and plug in some info/dates etc. to get better details.

We used them when we moved from Plano to NWA, it’s a little expensive but you are able to move stuff out while your house is on the market. We didn’t have any issues, we actually had 2 of them. When we got to the house in Arkansas is was sitting where we asked them to put it. Id use them again.

All you need to do is call and find out, each move is different. Ours was out of state and roughly 5k. That was for 2 big pods stored and shipped to Arkansas for the Dallas area.
