Hunter safety course

DOES ANYBODY KNOW OF ANY HUNTER SAFTEY COURSES IN OR NEAR ANGLETON / LAKE JACKSON AREA? THE ONLY ONES I HAVE FOUND ARE IN HOUSTON, , WHICH IS A 1 HOUR DRIVE FROM MY HOUSE. I TOOK MINE IN LAKE JACKSON, WHEN I WAS A KID, BUT I DON'T KNOW WHO TO CONTACT TO SEE IF THEY STILL HAVE CLASSES THERE.

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

There used to be a guy that did the course at Pearland Sportmans Club (PSC). It's a private member gun range located on the boarder of Alvin and Friendswood. They do have a website, just google PSC. Non-members are welcome to take the course.

There is a guy that does them in Lake Jackson. I can't remember his name but I found it on TPWD's web site a while back.
