I've had to rebuild the front end under the motor a couple of times. Ran the wheels right of of her.

Do you ever stay home? You must go through a lot of tires and gas.

I agree with this!! I bought a 2018 and had transmission problem that started at about 10,000 - the dealer kept saying there was nothing wrong. I got rid of it

"Sorry that you've had to drive a Chevy for so long." Congratulations OP, it also looks like you found out that bump gates don't like 8' beds.

              Very nice
              Those trucks were so comfortable!

Send an odometer picture to Chevy Truck Legends. I did a few years ago when my 2007 hit 300,000 miles. They send me free stuff from time to time.

Technically it's not the original drive train since the transmission has been replaced. however, those trucks are indestructible my buddy's dad has 325+ on his besides rust and oil pressure-sending units he has never had an issue. I probably logged 100k miles in the back seat going on fishing and hunting trips in high school.

Suddenly having a perpetual headlight out doesn’t seem to be so bad!!

Nothing. Nobody gives a d*** what a 20 year old truck did. That’s like you pretending your dads accomplishments are your own. Anybody with half a brain realizes GM trucks of past aren’t the same as they are today.

                      Previous GM fan

Son plays on a football team out of Arlington, we live in deer park
Throw in deer season and trips To the farm as often as we can and it all adds up very quickly

This doesn’t count the 15,000miles I put on the company suburban last year
