Skunks mating and bass on their beds??

    I've heard that before about the skunks but I've found that I usually only catch a few. But as the water temp approaches 68, then I catch a lot.

    Lake Georgetown is 54
    Lake Granger is 52

    They aren't biting on San Gabriel yet. Few more of these 86 degree days and it will be time.

      Nesting bass are off the feed and hard to catch.

                      Both are relative to bass spawn. Regardless of temp bass will move up to spawn regardless of temps. Daytime hours tell them it’s time. KVD did a great piece on this.
