      Heck of an assumption.

I grew up in the desert. Ironically, not far from this lake. Odessa. But I never cared for fishing much!

I must have hurt your feeling before. Allow to apologize for not giving a ****. I still don’t

got to get old at some point id imagine.
Curious about this as well. Somebody posted on the Fairfield thread about some guys trolling around for a couple of hours not making a single cast, just watching the screen.

It sounds horrible but that's what some call Bass "fishing" these days.. Go figure..
Blind chunking and reeling is my flavor.. I've caught more than I could ever possibly begin to count like that over the years.. No need to change now.
Besides I really enjoy fishing and the element of surprise that comes with it..

Food was delicious and big portions. Ribeye and chicken fried steak were awesome. If you leave hungry, it's your own fault!
And many double digit bass did yall catch? How many did you see caught?

I do this a lot when I'm by myself. You can learn so much by doing this. Some people like to fish and some like to catch.

Haha the magic question! Zero DD. Caught a few fish deep with drop shot and a few in transition water to shallow but no donkeys. Seemed to be slow all around with the exception of a lunker or two caught deep. We were targeting big fish and they didnt do it for us.

                          Hey,

For the folks telling stories of going and not catching anything. The few times I have been there with a guide, most of the other boats are beating the banks in the Salt Cedars. The majority of the bigger fish are in the middle of the lake in places that most folks never fish. You can find that by map study and electronics.

The "Church" is a local spot and is a long way from the shoreline yet only about 2' deep. The FFS sure does help!!! but watch the guides, they are not fishing the shore lines. That will change a bit for the spawn.

Hopefully Ivie will catch some rain this spring and bring the level up a bit.
