    I call it kickstand mode!

Switched to a shorter stick and now my feet have even more room when I'm on the ground. The best part is, I can swing the entire stand out at an angle from the frame with the straps up top, and sandwich quarters in it for meat hauling.

You might want to take a look at these blinds. You could combine one of these with some natural cover and be good to go. They market them more for turkey hunting but looks like they would work for deer as well.

Nukem Hunting blinds are portable hunting blinds that are lightweight and stake free. This camouflage hunting blind is offered in Mossy Oak Country Roots 3D Leafy, Mossy Oak Obsession, Mossy Oak Obsession 3D Leafy, Mossy Oak Greenleaf 3D Leafy, Mossy Oak Habitat, Mossy Oak Bottomland, and more.

I’ve had a lot of luck with brush blinds and pop ups. Typically I’ll try to set up in an oak cluster or one that has a lot of branches hanging low. Backing into those really helps with depth I’ve found. With a little brushing in should be gtg. Killed my biggest buck out of a similar set up at 23 yards. Never had snake issues but I cover the edges in a lot of dirt to prevent critters from getting in.

No doubt, those are slick but for that price you can buy a decent pop-up.

Hunted like this for years !
Still will if needed. Make a good brush pile and jump in the middle of it, done.
