Looks like a snake of the water with broad bands.

Red touches Yellow, Kill a Fellow. Red on Black's a friend of Jack, Red on Yellow will kill a fellow. Or red touches black friend of jack, red touches yellow kill a fellow. a good way to remember some striped snakes is an old saying, red on yellow kills a fella, red on black venom lack!!!

                    King snake or coral snake?

I have a ill tempered racer that lives in my water meter box. I work away from home 28 days at a time so I turn my water off when I leave. As long as he’s there, a copperhead isn’t so I just deal with him.

He doesn’t look like it, but it’s nearly 4’ long.

On second thought it might be a quadriplegic alligator…….with broad bands.
