    Best Hiking/Hunting/Work Boot

I am trying to find a new pair of hunting/hiking/work boots. I know that I may have to buy 2 pair or so, especially if they dont make an all around type boot. I am looking at Red Wing Traction Tred Lite or Tred, HOKA Trail Running Boots, Irish Setter, or any other suggestions. I need something other than my Chippewas and my Muck Rubber boots to work on the ranch, walk around, hunt, and general use when completing chores and honey-do's.

I just bought some Wolverines for work. They are composite toe. They also have some in non protected toe which would be lighter. Pretty decent so far.

These were reasonable, I public hunted a while and about have them tore up. But they are comfortable and have worked in them as well. May buy another pair

Then I wear the justin work boots for times when I need something a little higher. Sprayed them for waterproof and they get it done. Just bought another because they're about gone after 3 years.
And a pair of cheap snake boots I wear only when needed but wont last for work

I’ve always bought whatever work boot that was water proof and didn’t have laces that felt comfortable for an all around boot. It’s what I wear most of the time.

I’ve got Irish setters and other boots that are warm but have laces and they only come out if it’s a really cold spell or I’m actually hiking.

I hate pulling burs and cactus thorns out of my boots and my feet getting wet. That limits me and the last two I’ve bought have been twisted x and Ariat.

I almost always wear my old Timberland Titan Pro work boots when keeping busy outside. I've hiking all day in Deep East Texas pine plantations and West Texas desert, cut timber and cleared Yaupon, and spent countless hours sitting tree stands in hot summer & freezing winters, and walking miles and miles on concrete in them with no blisters. I use my worn out composite toe work boots because I'm cheap. My daughter wore their low rise Titan shoe working at Bucees where she has to stand on hard floors for 8+ hours. They aren't expensive and you can get them at Academy or Amazon.

Take a look at Merrell Moab mid height, if you get a chance.

My engineering manager swears by these. He buys them two pair at a time in case they stop production.

I used to wear LOWA Zepher but the snaps kept breaking. I have since switched to Solomon the last 5 years and have been extremely happy with them. I've got 3 pair of these boots. 2 for work and one for hunting/hiking.

Kenetrek uninsulated hiking boots is what I wear.

I’ve got a pair of 8” traction tread lites and I love them. It wasn’t my intention, but I may wear them on an elk hunt this fall. Super comfortable and I wear them for everyday use regularly.

I’ve also got a pair of Hoka trail running boots, the Anacapas. They are comfortable but I don’t like the lacing system much and I feel like the heel is too fat without enough ankle support. I would not wear them on a mountain, but like all Hoka shoes I’ve owned they’re extremely comfortable.

I just bought some Crispi boots, unbelievably comfortable.
I can't wait to buy another pair.
