Makes my mouth water, just thinking about it!!

Fry some ground beef and season it like you prefer just kind of brown it down some then add a can of cream of mushroom soup. Cook down some I also had added a little olive oil before the meat. When cooked down some I *** some velveta cheese or which ever you like. Pepper Jack works also. Then I stuff the peppers with the mix along with some Italian bread crumbs and bake in the oven at 350 till the peppers cook down some. Coon Azz style. :}
Your recipe sounds like poppers on steroids!! I like that! Only thing you left out was the bacon!

We finished up a load of 3 trays of stewed tomatoes and 2 trays of eggs (32 eggs/tray)... Put the eggs in quart jars with an oxygen absorber in the jar and put the maters in Mylar bags, about a serving size in each big enough for a big pot of stew or batch of tomato sauce. We didn't pre-freeze any of this stuff, just put it in the trays right off the counter top at room temperature (actually the maters were still pretty warm from the stove). Won't do that again!! That batch took over 60 hours to freeze, then dry... They came out perfect, but DANG!! Those 5 trays filled a 5 gallon bucket 2/3 full of water that came out of them though!!
I finally got a little time to complete the floor tile in the greenhouse. Have a little grout work to do, but it's essentially done. Now I think I'll go ahead and stub up the water and electric before I put the skin on it... Did I mention it's hot outside!!

Happy Far-cracker Day Y'all!! I've been working on water and electric for the greenhouse... turned out really nice. Got a wrong switch cover and I've got to go get the breaker for my GE box but it's wired/circuit tested and ready to go. Water is done. That little blue tarp was a lifesaver with its shade... Just a little tidying up and landscaping around it and it will be ready for me to put the skin on.

Well it took some searching... but I found our Garden Thread. I haven't updated in a while so thought I'd post up a few pics from this morning... Spring garden was probably one of our best ever, but it's winding down... We took out about a hundred bags this morning that had been squash, tomatoes, eggplants, basil and a few other misc. items. Only thing left in the Home plot now is peppers. Number 2 plot is peppers and dead tomatoes. Will try to get the last of the tomato plants pulled and bags taken out tomorrow. We will recycle the bag soil and rejuvenate it by adding in new compost and other nutrients such as chicken manure... lately we have gathered a pretty good collection of that stuff from the chickens. I hoping to be able to over-Winter some of my better pepper plants to see if I can get a second year of production from them. My bride picked about 6 gallons of various types of peppers this morning. She did not pick the jalapenos and that's the most plentiful pepper we have. Probably 3-4 gallons of those still hanging to be picked. Also a few poblanos left.
The primocane blackberry crop is a bit down, but the size of the berries is phenomenal! Some of them are approaching ping-pong ball size!! Still picking about half a gallon every few days... This heat has suppressed them pretty badly. I've been watering regularly but still they need a break from the heat. I doubt we get a fresh berry cobbler for Thanksgiving dinner like we did last year! ...but who knows. I'll be shooting the fertilizer and more water to 'em next week to try to get them through this period. Wish I had some shade netting. May yet try to get at least one of the plots covered and see if that helps.
The second planting of purple hull peas is loaded down with blooms and small pea pods... Hope it makes, but this heat is tough on them. I've been giving them all the water I think they can handle. Got a double row of okra and cucumbers too planted at the same time and so far, they are looking very healthy. All are on double rows with 8-mil drip burried between the rows so I can water/fertilize as necessary. The original pea plot is still producing a little and plants are healthy other than the grass has finally gotten to where I can't get to it between the plants. I've kept the middles pretty clean, but can't hoe or rake in the rows now... pea vines are too dense.
I have one of our 3 in-ground plots tilled, fertilized and covered that we will likely put in some Fall crops. Never really had a Fall garden, but certain veggies we are told grow better in the Fall... Hope to try green beans, broccoli, cauliflower, beets, onions and probably a few other things...

Guys, I've been getting some great pics (and videos) from Rocky too! Dang I wish we could get him going here again!! I may have mentioned that he texted me last week and told me, "That's it! I'm done, wife is mad and said NO MORE!!"... And also y'all saw the thread about him having maters n peppers in the deep freeze to give away for anyone who may want to make some salsa or tomato sauce, etc.... He told me he was going to take down his electric fence and "let the Democrats have the rest"!! (Deer)... He sent me pics of a herd of bucks and does just standing and waiting for him to take it down...
Well yesterday he texted me and told me he couldn't stand it... went and picked tomatoes and peppers again!
Then just now, he sent me a pic of the results of that... 13 1/2 quarts of pickled peppers!!!
All I can say is if he and his family eat all those peppers and pickles they have put up in a year, they're gonna be pickled themselves!!
Kind'a funny, I text'd him and asked if he was going to have a Fall garden.... 2 words, "HELL NO!!"
