First haul out of the garden. My squash got a little big. Tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and okra are lagging back. I did have to harvest a hundred or so radish already, those things really grew fast.
This was all grown from seeds

Ate some fresh zukes from our garden today. And some awesome lamb loin chops from a farm down the road. Great chow.

The good news...we've only had to water the garden one time this year. The bad news...all the rain has done some serious erosion to the tilled dirt. But we do have some corn and other stuff growing outside the garden now!

I’m right there with you. First year mine have been decimated like this.

Cucs are producing heavily, green beans did great, tomatoes are full and peppers are doing decent. Squash produced some before getting run over.

Take pics with you dig those taters, pick the squash, maters, peppers and give us an update on all that stuff growing on the nice trellis rows you got going!
Dug 900 onions before the flood today. After the flood, looked at my potatoes, and plucked some that were washed out. They’re looking good.

It is! Only 600 to 700 more to go. From the looks of the potatoes that got washed from yesterday’s flood, I’m gonna have a good crop.

We ended up with an accidental garden this year. Moved our chicken coop back during the winter and when I was mowing last week I noticed the squash plant. Upon closer inspection saw there is 20+tomato plants as well so we picked some of the bigger ones worked the dirt and put cages on them. Have something else coming up that could be cucumber or maybe pumpkin.
Can’t get much more organic than this.

Now that is just cool!! No tellin' what varieties you're growing! We have a bunch of pepper plants like that that we salvaged from a seed tray we dumped... didn't know they were germinated until we dumped the soil out of the little trays... Wife stuck 'em in grow bags... put a label on them that said "Mystery Peppers". Neighbors asked her where she got those seeds... asked if they were hot... We should be able to answer him here in about another month! That's about the time you'll be eatin' maters n squash!!

We have about 7 unknown plants that popped up this year that we are letting grow to see what they are. 3 mystery tomatoes and 4 mystery watermelon, cantaloupe, guard type plants. I'm actually excited to see what they could be.

I don't think I have provided a pic of the garden yet. Here ya go the 2023 garden. No okra this year. Replaced the raised bed okra with all herbs... cilantro, mint, peppermint, dill, thyme, sage, aloe vera... got a bunch of maters and peppers, both bell and some jalapeno, habanero... cucumbers, watermelons, and last years strawberries came in.

Here is a question for ya. What's up with the leaves on this tomato plant? And does every sucker need to come off all tomato plants?
