    Battery question for the fishermen

Starting to look for a battery. Mainly used for a trolling motor on a jon boat but occasionally used to power led lights in a camper. What size should i look for and how best to make it last several years? I have never bought a battery for either purpose.

Just buy the biggest deep cycle wal marks has. That way when it goes bad on day 1 of a 3 day trip you can replace it easier

Agreed. And they have a no questions asked warranty on it. Stow the receipt somewhere you will find it. If it goes bad, replace it. They are usually less than $100 as well.
