He’s awesome, hope you can get him! Not being picky, but if you could wait a week or so before he sheds the velvet, that is when I would shoot him…I’ve never killed a hard horn axis above 30” though, so take that for what it’s worth lol. He’s a trophy regardless

That’s an awesome one AC! Sure hope y’all get him. Ours seem to be fairly predictable until they shed their velvet, then they’re roaming and aren’t really predictable again until they’ve locked in with a doe or group of does.
