    Synthetic winch line reviews needed

Needing a 1/4”x50’ 5k+ lb synthetic winch cable. But there’s a ton of cheap ones. Most reviews seem like they don’t really get used. Need to be able to feed through the winch drum on one end.

Lemme know what you’ve had good luck with. And what to stay away from. Going on a Badlands 5k winch on a defender. Pick up animals. Winch up deer blinds. Etc.

13 years of abuse on whatever is on my viper winch. Pulled a 4 foot sago palm out with it 30 minutes ago

Synthetic cables don’t rust and they don’t get the little hooks & needle like pieces of broken cable that cut up your hands.

Amsteel Blue has been around for awhile, and is pretty much the standard.
            No experience with anything else.

I was looking @ the exact same thing yesterday on Amazon. There were several that got good reviews in the $30-$40 range.

                For a 5k winch, I would get atleast a 8k rope

This right here. DO NOT buy some no-name synthetic rope, especially if it’s from China. Amsteel is the only winch rope I would consider

I’m on my second warn synthetic line on my 12k winch
Abuse the shot out of it and use it weekly pulling out trees, stumps and boulders.
All breaks have been self induced in my opinion
