    LED Light Bar for hunting.

I'm in the market for one and just wondered what kind y'all have and like to use? I'm thinking I'll either get an Elusive Wildlife Technologies Kill Light or an Outrigger Outdoors Predator Cannon but I'm not sure. I haven't ever used a light bar for huntin so I have absolutely no experience to go off of as far as what to avoid and what works. All I know is I want a red one or a combo that's red and white.

But if there's a white LED light bar you can suggest that and I'll make it a red light. I just want it to be plenty bright.

Plash makes good light bars and I think they have green and red options

I'll check those out and see what they've got.

From what I've seen light bars come in two different designs. Straight and curved. I just wonder what that's all about? I guess I just don't get what the curved ones are supposed to do. That may be what I want but I haven't seen anything about why some are the curved design. I assume it has to do with the beam pattern. I want the widest beam pattern I can get. I'm tryin to illuminate fields.

Curved does widen it. You no longer have all the leds pointed in the same line it spreads them out more

That's what I'll need. It's pretty wide open here so I need as much of a wide beam pattern as I can get. I found out rather quickly coyotes need that light in their eyes early on when they're coming in. That spotlight I was using the other night did me dirty. As soon as they step out into the field I want their eyes lighting up. I want it to look like the whole field is turning red if I can.

Not sure your going to get that much without buying multiple but I just checked and looks like they only offer the straight bars in the red, green, orange

I've got the cheapest 50" bar I could find out of Hong Kong Amazon on my hunting truck and it is approaching year 10 working flawlessly.

Go curved, and maybe multiple of them the way you describe what you want. I've seen plenty of hunting rigs with them all the way around a roof rack.

I have a shootin chair that I can spin 360 degrees. I'm still kinda thinkin about how I'm gonna do it but what I'm thinking is I'm gonna get one to go across the front of it and two smaller ones on the sides of the table so I have 3 directions lit up. But I'm not exactly sure as of yet but I think I want to do something like that.

Aside from keeping the world in front of me lit up that'd keep my hands free to run the call and get on a gun without having to go from a spotlight to the remote or the gun.

Went to a Harbor Freight today and saw they had a 52" Roadshock LED light bar for $200. They also had a 42" one. They're not curved or have a colored lense is the only problem but if they're good I wouldn't mind getting those and just going over the lense with that fluorescent red paint or whatever or put that red lense repair tape over it and it'll make it shine red.

They're shock proof and weatherproof but they're not very expensive so they may be junk.
