chickens not laying and feed

This has been going on for a few months, as some people here have stated. However, it all depends on if you are still buying the old formulation of feed or the new formulation. It seems that some TSC stores go through chicken feed faster than others, or have a large stock of the old stuff still on hand.


This is not just happening here in Texas either. There have been reports of some feed suddenly causing a serious drop in egg production nation wide.

yall that get TSC brand feed, did yall notice they changed the formula a few months back? it now has a sweet smell kind of like molasses, and the bees love them.

We have chickens,cats and mules. We do not buy any feed from TSC anymore. Opened a bag of layer pellets and there was mold in the bag. Cats won’t touch the cat food. All purina feed now. Plus TSC is high on their feed.
