Are these seeds big enough to run through a grain drill?

Maybe I don't know my weeds... I've always though it was the same & called by different names. Goat / Careless / Pig. Grew up on fields that either did not get harvested or not disced post harvest.

Maybe a valley deal & recall killing them over it throughout the entire season through the years. Honestly, I haven't gone on a dedicated dove hunt unless it was over a tank at the ranch & have focused all my wing shooting the past several years on white wings.

I’m not 100% sure. I’m going to broad cast or borrow a drill.

Got cha! No they are different

The “goat weed” “dove weed”… wooly croton is what will swell your eyes shut and make you sneeze your head off

“Careless weed” is a marooniwh stalked dark green leaves weed with tiny stickers and can grow 5-6’ tall with tennis ball sized trunks

Tons of different variety’s of native sunflower. The only ones I know of sold commercially are Maximillian and “common native”

Depends which ones. Maximillian yes, common not really from what I understand. Maximillian don’t produce till October though.

Nope and cows don't really eat it either unless they have nothing else.

Sesame is supposed to be really good.
I planted about 10 acres a few years ago, but the dove didn't show up until December.

This is what turners sold me. I don’t think it’s Maximilian. They grow and harvest the Texas native sunflowers. They told me the reason they cost so much is because the plants are so hard on the picker ?????

Some of the best deer action I've ever seen was in a huge native sunflower field. But I'm a pretty bad deer hunter so it was probably something else in there they liked
