Maybe I don't know my weeds...I've always though it was the same & called by different names. Goat / Careless / Pig. Grew up on fields that either did not get harvested or not disced post harvest.
Maybe a valley deal & recall killing them over it throughout the entire season through the years. Honestly, I haven't gone on a dedicated dove hunt unless it was over a tank at the ranch & have focused all my wing shooting the past several years on white wings.

The “goat weed” “dove weed”… wooly croton is what will swell your eyes shut and make you sneeze your head off
“Careless weed” is a marooniwh stalked dark green leaves weed with tiny stickers and can grow 5-6’ tall with tennis ball sized trunks
