We rented a 2023 Limited with the upgraded interior. We drove from Chicago to my home, 3.5 hours north. Absolutely quiet ride, plenty of power, tons of room, buttons in the right spots, huge moonroof, got warm inside very fast despite being ~3 degrees outside. Steering wheel and seat heaters were awesome. The back seats felt like you were still in a well optioned vehicle (Unlike GM which feels like a school bus). The 3rd row has plenty of room, my 6'4" dad even fit back there, with two others, in the 3rd row. And for as big of a vehicle as it is, it didn't have tons of body roll like my wife's RX350 has, it drove much more similar to my truck.
My wife, a die-hard Toyota fan, said dang, I should have test drove one of these before I bought my RX350.
The downside. It does feel a little "plastic-y". The traction control is overly aggressive, and it wasn't clear how to fully disable it. I imagine the payload is not much, so I wouldn't want to tow with it. The third row seatbelt for the middle seat is a shoulder belt, mounted on the ceiling, and it's always in the way (There may be a way to move it, I just didn't figure it out). The dynamic cruise control and lane assist is still pretty rudimentary, leaving way too big of gaps, and the steering doesn't correct until you are almost over the white line. And there are only 2 cup holders in the front. All of these things I consider pretty minor.
Other than that, it was really quite a good vehicle for our family of 4. When my wife decides to upgrade, we are definitely going to go drive one.
