MJHAVERKAMP place is about 3.5 miles NE of us as the crow flies. He sent us a video of a buck with twine flowing of its right side chasing a doe one evening. The next morning me and my grandson were in blind on our far west side another mile away and here he comes running by chasing a doe with the twine still flowing.

I saw a Muley this past season running with a tumbleweed on his rack. He even jumped the fence with it on And never missed a stride.

Clearly he’s a middle aged buck that is doing all he can to stay lean for the ladies. That fake hair on his head and fooling no one though.

He probably drives a yellow vette too.

I’m thinking he might be the Johnny Wier of the Wilbarger County deer world. Probably goes down to the river and looks in it to see how pretty he is.
