I have a project coming up and I was wondering what the going rate is for labor only to hang, tape, float, texture?
8ft ceilings, ~160, 1/2in 4x8 sheets
Most of the ceiling is done in beadboard so only about 10 sheets are for the ceiling. So mainly walls to do.

For a house, the going rate is .25 per sft to hang and same to finish. Texture is running at .08 per sft. Mud is $9 per box, tape is $3 per roll, texture is $13 per bag

Labor only for install I have seen $20/sheet. Add another $25-30 for tape, float & texture. Houston area.
