Slime Sale at Lowes

I noticed the new Rangers that have been purchased recently and wanted to post this up, sorry for the delay.

Lowes is running a sale on Slime products in all sizes, it is a buy one get one free deal. It is in the Memorial Day ad paper and ends tomorrow night.

The gallons are $29.98 and that is what I normally purchase.

An atv sized tire takes 24-32 ounces per tire depending on size.

Hate what that does to steel wheels........I ruined two antique tractor wheels using that stuff.

I have never used it in ATV tires. If it is a piece of equipment you keep for 10 years then foam filling might be a good option.

I have heard a lot of the talk of ruining wheels but I have never seen it in my experience with newer manufactured ATV wheels. I have a set of Vampires mounted on ITP C series that I put together in 2002 and have seen no ill effects to date.

I deal with foam filled tires every day in the commercial/industrial sector and I can't advocate them for the average user, especially on an ATV, UTV or golf cart, they are just too stiff and the ride is horrible from what I have experienced.

Now for a tractor, implement or backhoe, I would go that route in a heartbeat.
