I don't have it but looked into it. The wait was going to be too long for this area (Lampasas). I also looked into Nextlink which is line of site, but I couldn't get service without a 40-50' tall tower installed. Verizon offers a home internet service now that works off their cell towers. I added it to my phone plan for $25 a month and it's unlimited. My address technically didn't show it as being eligible, but the local Verizon store guy had a list of addresses to use as a phony address. We're about a month in and it's been working great.

I've been getting these VZ emails about their home internet but then they say I'm not eligible. Maybe I'll give them my office address. The only net service I can get is ViaSat. I could go with Starlink but the equipment cost is really high.

I’m interested in the RV version but amazed to see that California and the whole southeast US in a “low coverage” area

just means there are lots of users and the speeds will be a little slower. were talking 60-100mb instead of 300+ mb

You don’t need the rv version to use when you travel and yes you can use the rv version at home. The standard unit comes with a stand you can set on the ground. All you do is run the cable to it. It is powered from the inside unit. Really simple and a great system so far for us.

We are on the “best effort” plan. They did not have enough coverage but added us and will make the best efforts to get us internet. So far so good.

Signed up 1/2023 and it's finally up and running. Blanco Co. Setup is stupid easy and the speed is great. Definitely do recommend.

I was on the wait list for 2 years and got my system a couple of weeks ago. My neighbor who lives a mile away cannot get it. I guess he wasn't on the wait list long enough.
