It’s about 85% African safari outfitters this year. Never seen that market so saturated. None were coming off their prices to compete either. I go every year, but next year I’m making the trip up to Dallas for the DSC show.

That's what it looked like from the vendor list. I don't plan on doing SA again for a few years so I'll skip the show. Thanks for the info.
I went Friday. It’s all expensive foreign hunts and craaaazy taxidermists. Except for the great Kuiu set up (shameless plug) and some beautiful rifles too. The one in Dallas is the one to go to apparently.
Went to both this year. DSC is obviously a massive show. They had ~5,500 exhibitors this year. I spent 3.5 hours there and never even touched the section that had the gear, apparel, optics, etc. Just spent all my time in the area with the outfitters and taxidermists. It’s one hell of a show. I believe it’s now taken over SCI as the biggest hunting show in the world. HSC is significantly smaller. I believe around 400-500 exhibitors. Primarily Africa, along with New Zealand, South America, and some others. In my opinion, it’s fun to go and walk around, even though it’s significantly smaller. You can cover it in 1.5 - 2 hours, even if you stop and talk to a few booths along the way. Make sure you get the Buy One, Get One Free coupon for entry online.
