    Target archery caught my eye

Like I need to spend more money but for some reason shooting paper is catching my eye… I figure you guys are the best and most reliable people to ask… where do I start? What equipment etc I’ll probably be going to Texas archery or west Houston to break the bank….

From what I can tell this is a whole new ballgame compared to hunting rigs

Any and all info is extremely appreciated

Honestly go take some lessons at west Houston archery and see what you are lacking.

      Up to You

You can shoot your hunting rig. That's what I do. Although I have to admit, I'm not shooting 300's. The guys at Ft Grard had me shoot through paper and gave me some spine suggestions but and of course my buddies over here in WTX had different opinions. So I guess I'm just gonna have to try and experiment a little with different spines until I figure it out. Good luck. You gonna try and get 3 SYWATs in?

Probably not I’m thinking more of just a target rig… don’t think pulling 82lbs is really going to help me at all if I want to do remotely well….will all be a process different kinds of bows clarifiers verifiers scopes etc etc

First, you shooting bowhunter or freestyle?

          For my indoor set up...
          36 to 40in ATA bow
          50-60lbs draw weight
Fat Arrows- I like gold tip ***. Full length with 200/250 gr points and 4in feathers
          Hamskea trinity target rest

          CBE vertex sight
Shrewd optum scope (if freestyle 4x or 6x lense)
          Etac light kit

          Stabilizers depend on class.
          I have Shrewd Onyx 10/8 or 28/14

I just mainly play around now and need to get back to shooting SYWATs
