    Las Vegas Eats

Headed to Vegas and we have not been in over a decade. I know it's changed quite a bit. Any recommended places to eat that aren't going to break the bank, or is that just a pipe dream.

Osaka Japanese Bistro on West Sahara. I make it a point to go there each time I'm in Vegas. Their sushi is ridiculous.

I spent 7 days at the Encore a few years back and there was this real nice little establishment a block or so away. You could get just about anything you wanted any time or the day. I believe it was called “Lenny’s” or maybe “Denny’s”…. seriously I ate there twice a day. Vegas just isn’t my scene!!!

Stayed at Aria last weekend. Went to Bavette's at the Park MGM, on the concierge recommendation. Wasn't too pricy and the food was good. Park MGM had $15 tables, Aria started at $25 and went up from there. If the Vegas Knights are in town, that is a lot of fun in person.

My sons and I went between Christmas and New Years. It was Jake's first trip, so I made reservations at Hell's Kitchen (first time for all of us) and the Eiffel Tower (I've been several times). Really good dinners at both, but $900 for two meals for the three of us. The only other meals we really sat down for the rest of the week were burgers at Wahlburgers, which never disappoints, and some way overpriced pizza from the food court in Caesar's. I honestly don't remember eating anything else but some power bars and a bunch of sausage balls that we brought with us. I think we got most of our calories from drinking.

There is a mini-strip now between The LINQ and The Flamingo across LVB from Caesar's that has a bunch of casual restaurants. I walked down that street a couple of times just to check it out. There was a line out the door to Gordon Ramsay's Fish & Chips. There was also a BBQ place that looked good, a pizza place, and some chain restaurants (In-N-Out, Tilted Kilt).

Average food, off the path usually not crowded.

Hash house a go go most of there plates can feed 2 people

Favorite steak house ive found so far is vic and anthonys in the golden nugget on freemont street. We usually order a big tomoahawk with a family side or 2 and can split between 4 people.

Whalburgers we usually hit up for lunch

Had breakfast at Ellis island and it was very good and the only normally priced meal I had in Vegas. Even fast food was more expensive than this place.
