    Kubota mx5400?

Anyone own one these tractors? Looking at getting one and can’t find any reviews on it. Was wondering if I could hear some first hand experiences with it. Will be using a 6’ cutter, grapple, roto tiller. Thanks I’m advance fellas

My FIL has one and he really likes it. It’s a HST so running a grapple or doing dirt work is a breeze. I prefer it over a mahindra for dirt work. Hydraulics are a little faster and the hydrostatic drive makes it easy spreading.

I have a mx4700, had it for 11 years. I love it. It will do everything you mentioned with ease. I run a 6' cutter on mine and can bog it down but it has to be THICK tall grass. It's never been an issue, just have done it a handful of times in 11 years. Will run as big a tiller as you want, and has plenty of lifting power.

I have the MX6000 which has the exact same motor as the 5400 but a few extra horses. I run a grapple and a 6’ bush hog as well as dirt work from time to time. Tractor has been great. Not too fond of the particulate filter (no def needed) as it requires high rpm’s to burn the particulates. I have some my own maintenance on it and everything is easy to get to.

I have a MX5200. My only complaint is that it is a little light when trying to pick up a heavy load with the forks. I do need to put water in my back tires so that will help. I’ve done all the Maintenance on mine as well and it has been easy.

My MX5100 with loaded rear tires lifts 2000 pound pallets of corn no problem.

It will easily run all that stuff you listed

Grapple is a game changer for sure

Hay guy runs a mx6000. With a 4x5 on the back he can pick up two 4x5s on the front and put them on top row of a trailer. He also runs a 15’ batwing with it.

I actually wanna sell my 5055 and buy a mx6000. I think the tires make all the difference.

I looked at this exact tractor today- open station! Make sure you like the treadle pedal ! They are tough machines!

.My cousin has one on our farm. We maintain about 20 acres of food plots and another 30 acres of bushhoging areas and it is a work horse. Good unit
