I always cut the gas off and let it run out of fuel when I'm done using it.

That's a great deal. HF seldom includes the Predator generators in their coupon offers. I've had the 9K Gen for a couple of years that I've converted over to LP as a backup house generator. It starts up like a breeze and I don't worry about having a gas carb. It's an easy DIY to switch out the carb if anyone is interested. Kit was about $35 on Amazon.
