I still have a dixie chopper 15 years old. I mow about 6 ac every 10 days it's been a great machine. My next one will be what you have, but 60 inch

Hard to beat Scag, but like bboswell said you will have to go up one model (Tiger cat 2)to get the velocity deck.

I have a Z335 E which has a 20hp and 42” cut. I have 3 lots on my property and it takes me no time to cut my lawn. I was hesitant about buying a zero turn but now I am so glad I did. I really like my mower.

Check out Grasshopper front mount mowers. I have a 526v with the 26 hp Vanguard motor. I LOVE the way that the deck tilts up 90 degrees (with an electric motor) to access the blades. I mow about six acres and never had any trouble in the five years that I’ve had it. The front mount makes it super easy to mow under low hanging tree limbs as well as being able to mow right down to the waters edge of my pond without getting stuck. They make them up to a 72” deck with diesel motors as well. Great mowers!!

Didn't read too many of the other posts. Have a Ferris and it's pretty dang good. Lucky I bought when they were cheaper, notice I didn't say cheap.
