    Guided Mule deer & Pronghorn

Im looking to take my dad on a Guided Mule deer & Pronghorn Hunt out of state for his 60th birthday this year. Any recommendations on a nice outfitter that has the full package?

Kennedy Hunting Services, Inc. provides fair valued, quality, private land hunts for deer, elk, turkey, antelope, and bear in Northeastern New Mexico and Southern Colorado.

I'd look at the states for draw requirements then narrow down to the outfitter. Arizona is next month. Colorado is April and Wyoming is May. Some of the states give preference to guided hunters and some don't so it depends on the state. Gohunt can help with the draw requirements in each state. I think some of that info can be had without a subscription but most of it needs one. Once you know the states you could qualify in, then you can narrow it to specific outfitters. I know that for pronghorn, Wyoming is an easy draw if you are going with a guide on private land. It may be the same for mule deer but I'd get on those quick as they will fill up.

We have hunted with him several times. Great outfitter!

Wyoming will need some PPs, not many areas that can be drawn now with 0 PP but a few perhaps.
Quotas are not out yet to you have some time yet for Wyoming. If numbers bounce back might be more 0 PP areas you can draw.

NM sounds like the best option if they offer pronghorn and mule deer in same season.

New Mexico .. Looks at NM Council of Outfitters and Guides for recommendations.

NM you can by landowner tags for both species. Gonna be pricey, but knocking out both in one hunt isn't going to be done in other states.

If you are going to look at Wyoming for a combo hunt, you might reach out to Table Mountain Outfitters.
I don't know them personally but I heard pretty good things about how Scott and Angela run their operation.

Sir I am going to respectfully disagree on that. I know how they treat some of their leases and I would not recc. them, other better outfitters in that same area.
Haven't heard anything bad about them personally though, aside from their leases.

How do they treat their leases, Wytex? Like I said, I don't know them, just going based on what I have heard.

Lots of hunting and not much regard for the wildlife left over, if you know what I mean.
They have leases in the area we work for a rancher.
I have not heard anything bad personally about them, in fact good people I hear but their leases, some get over hunted.
About what might be said about lots of outfitters though.

I do know folks who hunt with them tend to like their hunts.
I would really like to see them get a nice pronghorn buck and not just a buck that is 10-12 inches like many outfitted hunters take.

Completely understand, Wytex. And, unfortunately is fairly common with the larger outfitters.

I see these hunting videos on YT and TV where hunters are shooting 12-13 inch Antelope and the guides are ecstatic about the size.
I have not punched an Antelope tag in a number of years because if it is not 83-84 inches or greater I am not interested at this point in my life.
They can't get trophy class if you can't let them walk.

Yes sir, same with mule deer and WT bucks.

Wind hit this morning, I had to go down to Ft Collins and it was blowing hard on the way back.
Dumping snow in the mountains too.
Hoping winter conditions are not harsh coming month or 2 so these nice folks have some bucks to choose from.
We're looking good but I hear some have nasty crusty snow, and it's deep.
                          Stay warm.

Look to the NE part of the state maybe for easier to draw pronghorn and mule deer.
Days of lots of leftovers to pick up a tag are about over.
NM is a neat state for pronghorn also. I hunted near Raton one year and had a blast.
