I should be in Shreveport already but apparently there was an ice storm! Works cutting into my fishing life! Should get over there tomorrow night!

Day one was tough! Small fish and lost a lower unit!! Day 2 we did a little better. Moved up 9 spots. Finished 1/2 pound out of the money. D’Arbonne is the next national tourney at the end of the month!! I like that lake. Then Grenada 2 weeks after that! Tough life but somebody has to do it!!

Never tried for crappie but bass fishing was slow so we scoped a pile. Man it was too easy.

As a lifelong Lowrance user hopefully Active Target 2.0 is better! Their picture sucks. Active target is just like the old pan optics before livescope.

Can you point to fish in this photo? Or tell me what you guys trained eyes are seeing there. I assume that is a bunch of crappie tight on that tree?

Anybody nearby is welcome to come catch crappie, bass, catfish at my place. I need some taken out. Sherman/Denison/Bonham are.

A couple black crappie in the top right but they're bunched up. Them big fish are usually roaming or hanging out by themselves in timber.

Hummingbird sucks! Lowrance is solid. I have 2.0 on order. Will report back.

Moved from Pines over to Sandlin but it has been a good winter so far. I am still running trips on both lakes but really enjoying living on a new lake
