440. Shot two today out in my wheat field at 1:30 in the afternoon.

442. Got one this afternoon. I was out doctoring a cow when I looked up and saw a sounder coming across the wheat field. Got set up on the fence line and just waited for them. Nailed this old gal through both shoulders at just 20 yards. She dropped in her tracks.

I will add 3 more confirmed sows down. All had bacon bits with them.


Hit a 4th and could hear it squealing from farther out but didn’t go looking for it in the dark. I guess hitting 4 pigs right at dark with a rifle I had never shot wasn’t to bad. Haven’t even shot a rifle in a year.
