2023 Workout Accountability Thread!

    I missed Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday due to work obligations, but got in this morning. Chest and arms giant sets with rep ranges 20/20/15/10.

    Incline bench on smith machine/standing rope curls/overhead rope extension
    Bench press/arm blaster curls/cable pushdown
    Incline DB fly/spider curl/cable pushdown supinated grip

      Didn't make it yesterday cuz, well, it was a holiday. Duh! I did make it in this morning after a long weekend of horrible sleep patterns. I gotta figure out how to get outta this rut.

      Chest and biceps supersets. 5X5 for some movements and 5X10 for some others. A little ab work for good measure.

      Bench press/preacher curl/ ab roller
      Incline bench press/hammer curl/hanging leg raise
      Pec deck fly/BB curl/incline situp
      Push ups/overhead cable curls

      Back and legs tomorrow

        Saturday was a 5 mile run
        Rest Day yesterday
        Just knocked out a 5 mile run now

        Weighed myself Saturday and I weighed 182.... That is almost 15 pounds less than 100 days ago when I was probably the strongest and in the best shape of my life. (To date at least!) I have always been a heavy numbers guy when is came to correlating health with weight so that was a big eye opener as I would do anything to be able to be back at ~195 and looking like I was in May instead of how I look now! Just have to keep pushing and line things out a little straighter until I am cleared to be back in the gym lifting. I have my 6-week follow up for the Bicep procedure this Friday so hopefully I can officially start PT and take a step in the right direction.

        We are now 2/3's of the way through the year amigos! Hope everyone keeps grinding and with hunting seasons kicking off I hope everyone keeps at it! Only 120 Days left until we are staring this thread all over!

        Remember its about consistency over motivation and we all will have our ups and downs (except for some of you crazy people ) and as long as the overall is trending the right direction then everyone is doing what they can!

          Cardio and Core at the gym yesterday. Looking for a evening jog today!

          EDIT: Changed it up and knocked out Cardio with light chest and Tris over lunch. Legs tomorrow if scouting for teal in the AM doesn't mess it up.

              Sub 250 the healthy way...

              still cranking out burpees an air squats 5 days a week

              I do them in sets of 100 now and can be done in 20 minutes or less

              going to address the diet in November and see how things progress...lean and mean is the goal!

                  Chest and triceps dome today… it was good to be back in he gym although I was lacking strength and endurance after a two week fishing trip to Colorado… hope to hit it hard for the rest of the week and get back in the grove fast…

                    I Friday and Monday due to being old. That just sucks. Made it in this morning for chest and biceps and it was a good workout. 20/20/15/10 reps with 4X10 incline situps.

                    Bench press on smith machine/preacher curl
                    Incline bench press on smith machine/BB curl/incline sit up
                    Pec deck fly/hammer curl bar over preacher bench
                    Push ups/overhead cable curl

                    I got a wild hair after my 4 sets of flat bench press and decided to see what my 1 rep max was on bench press. I hit 255 on the first set and it went up pretty easy. I felt I could have hit higher, but decided to finish the workout. Maybe next week I'll pick a day and work on the 1 rep max. Not bad for 64 years young, but not where I want to be.

                      Sunday was a big time cardio and core day. Spent almost 2 hours in the gym and burnt 1700 cals. Had to make up for the drinking caused from the abusive relationship that is being a Texas A&M football fan…..

                      Yesterday was a long day 330am wake up and crashed at 11pm and I almost didn’t go to the gym but walked in at 930 and did 220 flights of stairs.

                      About to head in for Chest and Tris!

                      Edit: Todays workout out was freaking awesome. Best chest and tri session I have had in 3 months along with keeping up a great heart rate average. Weighed in at 180 today but should slowly start building muscle back up here in the next 4-6weeks. PT session at 3 for the bicep.
