Salty H20 2023 Thread- How Salty Will You Get??

Had a fun weekend with the Family in POC, kept a few fish to feed the crew.
They would only flare at the topwater but would kill a softdine XL.
Cruised the surf & almost lost my favorite softdine XL to a Jack, finally got my lure back & sent him back to torment another fisherman. LOL
Got into a chestdeep fight with a pod of POC's finest Dolphins. 2 adults & 2 juveniles had me surrounded & eating all my throwbacks. Tried to be sneaky & release them in shallower water only to get drenched & about knocked over. Finally went to the boat & ran to another spot only to be followed by them. Finally had to run across the bay to get away from them.

Nice work out there everyone. I stayed away from the coast and caught a few green trout instead. Nothing big but a bunch of em. I'd rather been catching real fish though.

Yep. Ran in to them just about every stop....greens and on the back of grass island.

It seams like the porpoise and shark population has increased.

What a 5-day run in POC. The boys and I got ‘em every morning in a variety of locations. We kept a meat haul from the day we fished the surf and released our fish the rest of the Weeknd.

Dumb question, but what do y’all do for extra bait storage when fishing the surf? The box that comes will the foreverlast belt obviously isn’t water proof. Just put extra baits in shirt pocket? That’s also not idea if you throw stuff with treble hooks
