Imo, if you pull goosenecks get the slotted bed. Put a mat down in the slot and coolers will ride in it also. Sure you have to tie stuff down more, but I want one also. They are way easier to get stuff off/on.

I’ve got a bale bed on my old farm truck. Handy for that & goosenecks but not much else IMO (for what I need).

I really don’t need the one I have. I have a little roller on my tractor that’s easier to mess with.

They’ve gotten pretty dang expensive!!

I had an F350 with one but I sold it. It definitely was easier to haul stuff on. I got tired of having three vehicles so sold it and traded the 1/2 ton in on a 3/4 ton. I don’t move my tractor much or very far so I have what I need.
