      I shot a mallard pintail cross a few years ago and I agree it is something else. Don't take that bird to a cheap taxi make sure it is done right. Once in a lifetime trophy there! I recommend Avian Arts in Gunter, TX

            I think this is it! No real mallard traits and no pintail traits, but plenty of both GW Teal and Wigeon!

            Regardless, that is a trophy on par with a real Booner of a deer!!

              No mallard traits? I see a solid green head, the bill length (neither a widgeon nor a teal have a bill that long) and orange feet. It has some of the chestnut base of the neck/breast typical of a mallard drake as well
