We got down to 8°.

25° now at almost 1:30 PM

We lost power about 545 this morning. Have a Dearborn heater so the wife and kids should still be able to stay warm . I’m at work .

I hope they have a window open so the Co2 doesn't get them. Dearborn heaters inside are killers.

Do what? Nearly all homes I was in back in the ‘70 had these type of heaters
Grandparents keep it so hot when I was a kid with one in their house it would take your breath away when you walked in. It wouldn’t take long to hang your coat up!

They sure can be . All of our house runs propane . We have 4 co2 monitors in the house . Wife said they got power back about 30 minutes ago .

CO = carbon monoxide, very toxic. Product of incomplete combustion. The monitors are for CO.

CO2 = carbon dioxide, same gas you exhale. It would need to be very high concentration to be unhealthy.
