This^^ and the dew point is -8°, and no cloud cover. The dew point is a determining factor in how cold an air mass can get, the more moisture the more temperate & stable it is, the dryer (sub 0) the colder it can get. That coupled with no cloud cover (insualtive effect) can allow temps to drop far.

All of that to say, I think the forecast low of 7 for us is at least 5° too warm and maybe more. Wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t get to 0 or maybe below. The caveat to this is if the wind picks up some, it can have a mixing action that hinders the radiational cooling.
